Super busy but a new addition

Like most I have been super busy, but one of my passions I have never posted about is home audio/theater. Here soon I will do more of a write-up of my full system as I want to expand the topics so I have more content (even if few ever see it...lol) . My room isn't the greatest since I live in an old house and I am stuck within a lot of the constraints of it. Today though I am just going to post the following.

After nearly 20 years I finally am giving another center channel speaker a chance vs my old reliable Klipsch KSC-1. I have literally changed every other speaker in some cases more than once while it was here. SVS Prime center gets the nod for the attempt and with their 45 day no questions asked returns I figured why not. It doesn't fully fit under my TV and I knew it wouldn't but I knew it also wouldn't be in the way. So far just listening to music it sounds pretty comparable to the Klipsch though maybe a bit fuller during stringed instruments sections. Sensitivity rating is 86db vs the Klipsch claimed 95db (not sure after so long its really still that good anyway), but I can't say it sounds any quieter to me. Hopefully this evening I can compare with a couple movies I have watched recently. Overall I think so far it speaks to how good the old center was that I am not just blown away yet, but watching some movies may change that.

The Klipsch generally I have always set at 100Hz on the crossover. I have tried the SVS briefly at 60Hz (freq response says 48Hz) ended up bumping it back up to 80Hz for now.
